"This property is the nicest I've ever stayed in, but is very far from the city center. It is also further from the ski lifts than advertised by quite a bit."

"fantastic 7 night ski trip. A bit far from town, but excellent access to ski out/in if there is snow. Stores in town close at 7 and so does the spa, so plan accordingly. We had a fantastic apré ski every day in the patio. Breakfast was fantastic. And all of the staff are absolutely wonderful. The room is slightly small for seven nights, But the ski locker room lended some help. We cannot wait to return!!"

"My son and I had an amazing 19 days at the hotel and every day was perfect. The staff took such good care of us. They were all very friendly and helpful and fun. The room was exceptional. We plan for another 19 day stay next year and for 12 days of that time we are bringing my son's 4 adult daughters, my granddaughters for a wonderful experience to share at the Focus Matterhorn Hotel. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the adonis Hotel. We were upgraded to what we thought was the best room in the hotel as it had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. You need to be in good health though as there are no cars allowed and the streets are quite hilly. But the cable car access to the mountains was quite close and made for an amazing and unforgettable experience.the breakfast was quite plain but sufficient and the staff were extremely helpful."

"Hotel Firefly was one of the most perfect hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in, truly! Upon arrival the front desk walked us around the property showing us the complimentary spa area which we used each day to warm up in the evenings. Our bags were in our room when we arrived and the room even had a small kitchen so we could make a couple meals which was nice since we were almost two weeks into our vacation upon arrival. "Overall a very good stay. As previous commentators have noted, the breakfast is noteworthy. With the owners and family living and active on site, this is a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. This may suit some guests but not all. The rooms are well designed with a nice balcony and plenty of hanging space, though some may dislike the open bathroom arrangement. This is purely subjective. "What an amazing vacation. Hotel Antika is snuggled away in a convenient location in Zermatt. Just off the Main Street but still centrally located to restaurants and bars. The hotel has a ski entrance and storage area for all your equipment and the bus to Matterhorn Mountain Glacier is right outside the rear entrance. Picture perfect views of the Matterhorn and a little bar for an apres ski drink. Would highly recommend and would stay there again. "
